Mycelium Stage

Before there were four stages, there was one. Mycelium Stage was born the same moment the festival was a single space that held everything. Every genre, every performance, every first attempt at something we had never done before. It was the beginning, and it carried all the weight of that.

Five chapters later, the stage has grown. The design changes every year reimagined, rebuilt, always different. But the feeling has never left. This is still a space that pulses with life. Still a space that moves.

Mycelium Stage is devoted to live performance in every form music of any genre, any energy, any hour. What it demands from every artist who steps onto it is the same thing it has always demanded: presence. The real kind.

Energy sent directly from the performer to the people standing in front of them, with nothing in between.

"This stage is not a backdrop. It is the centre of the network — the place where the signal travels outward."

Each edition of Mycelium Stage is conceived and designed by Nithi Kasempittayathorn designer, artist, and co-founder of the festival. His hand is in every beam, every light, every structure that rises from the ground each November. The form changes. The intention never does.

Artists who have played this stage: Srirajah Rockers · Venn · Khana Bierbood Koji Matsumoto · Khee Bho · Buddha Beat and many more. This is where Mycelium speaks most clearly. Come and listen.
